EXECUTIVE SUMMARY / FEB 24 [Required]
The Team leader must complete an Executive Summary by the registration deadline, February 24th. In total, the summary should not exceed 3 pages but is MANDATORY for involvement within the remaining two rounds. Registration is not considered complete until the Executive Summary is submitted as well. Feedback of this Executive Summary will then be provided in the subsequent month so you have time to revise and review your idea!
INNOVATION SHOWCASE/ APRIL 20 [Optional]
Teams participating in the Final MWest Competition are encouraged to participate in a Poster Session on April 20th from 5pm-7:30pm. This session serves as the People`s Choice Award event, where teams will be able to showcase their products, services and ideas, as well as network with the entrepreneurial and investor community. Up to $5000 in prizes will be awarded during this round!
FINAL PITCH COMPETITION / APRIL 21 [Required]
The Final Pitch Competition for the 2017 West Challenge will be held on April 21st from 8am-3pm. This student venture competition will allow teams to pitch entrepreneurial ideas to a panelist of judges in order to win prizes. There are over $45,000 worth in cash and kind prizes alike! In addition, students will have access to resources, mentors and opportunities for leadership in entrepreneurship following the competition.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADVANCEMENT /JUNE 1 - AUG 31 [Optional]
All MWest Teams will have the opportunity to compete for a chance to participate in Boundless Accelerator program, a collaboration between Red Bull, Start Garden and the West Challenge that allows students to develop their ideas into a reality over the summer months!
